Bally taps André Saraiva for a capsule collection

Published
Oct 28, 2016

After Majestic Filatures and Sonia Rykiel, André Saraiva has been asked to work his magic for the Swiss luxury shoe label Bally for autumn-winter 16-17.

Bally & André Saraiva capsule collection

Parisian artist and graffiti artist, André Saraiva came to prominence with his character Monsieur A., who plays a starring role in the capsule, appearing on a cosmetic travel bag, a passport holder, a business card holder, a key clip and a belt. Saraiva also created an illustrated cartoon with his favorite figure as tribute to the collaboration.

Saraiva served as artistic director and chief editor of the French edition of l’Officiel Hommes between 2011 and 2015. The capsule project started when the French artist got the idea to restore an old pair of his favorite Bally boots, together with Pablo Coppola, the artistic director of the luxury brand. The capsule also includes a silk scarf imprinted with a poster image designed by the artist for the occasion.

The collection is available in selected stores of the Swiss shoe brand and also on its e-commerce sites for France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom and the US.
