Avec Les Filles swim will offer separates and one-pieces with lace-like mesh, ruffles and feminine crochet details. Denim and tie-die accents will juxtapose the line's California roots with its Parisian inspiration. The launch line includes 50 swim styles and six cover-ups.

Cuts will be geared towards a more modest American focus offering more coverage than traditional French swim silhouettes. Azria said her designs are intended to elongate legs and be more flattering on the American market while still maintaining a French aesthetic.

Describing the swimwear collection, Azria told Apparel News, "We come with Parisian roots, South of France wanderlust and California cool," adding that the line will be meant to last season over season, taking a functional approach instead of chasing disposable trends.

Price points range from around $60 to $90 for separates with one-pieces ranging from $110 to $160. The collection will debut in Miami at SwimShow July 14th.

Azria founded Avec Les Filles two years ago. The line sells at Macy's and Revolve, and includes apparel, footwear and accessories.
