Arcadia names new digital director

Arcadia, the retail group behind major brands including Topshop and Topman, has named Andy Harding as interim digital director.

He is taking over from Simon Pritchard, who left the business earlier this month after nine years, reported Retail Week.

Harding has several years of experience working in the retail sector, having held senior roles at some of the UK’s largest retailers, including chief customer officer at House of Fraser for five years and chief customer officer at Mothercare.

He also held senior roles at BHS, Carphone Warehouse and stationery retailer Ryman.

Most recently, he was chief executive officer of Alamy, a privately owned stock photography agency based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
