Amrapali’s latest store opening expands its international presence and sees it join luxury brands Church’s, DWL Watches, Sterling Diamond, Penhaligon’s, and House of Cashmere, among others at the historic Burlington Arcade, the brand announced on Facebook. The store is currently shut due to the ongoing UK lockdown, but will reopen when businesses are permitted to do so.

“Experience the Amrapali brand of style in the heart of London,” said Amrapali in a statement. “Explore stunning designs that are inspired by the rich heritage of India as you visit our brand new boutique at Burlington Arcade in London.”

Amrapali also has a shop-in-shop in London’s historic department store Harrods. The store features a ‘Gembar’ where shoppers can select gems from a rotating carousel, which displays the gems on individual plinths in an oval shaped glass cabinet and use them to create custom jewellery designs.

Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera founded Amrapali in Jaipur in 1978. The brand retails in stores across India and London, UK as well as online on its dedicated e-commerce store. The brand’s subsidiary Tribe Amrapali has a more colourful, ethnic aesthetic and also retails across India and online.
