AMI contributes to WHO and Hospitals de Paris

Published

AMI has become the latest Parisian fashion house to contribute to the fight to contain Covid-19.

Founded by designer Alexandre Mattiussi in 2010, AMI will contribute 10% of all online purchases on Amiparis.com to the World Health Organization’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, and that until the end of the confinement period in France.

“At AMI, we would like to give back and make our contribution in a humble way, standing by the values upon which we were founded: friendship and love, sharing and inclusion. For this, we have chosen to support two institutions that are at the forefront of this unprecedented health crisis, both in our home country and at an international level,” said Mattiussi in a press release.

Within France, the house has also made an undisclosed lump donation to the Fondation Hôpitaux de France - Hôpitaux de Paris, a national charity benefiting French hospitals by providing vital equipment and support to healthcare personnel, as well as patients most severely affected by the coronavirus.

While the donation to WHO will help the tracking and understanding of the virus, it will also aid in buying and shipping essential medical supplies such as masks, gloves and protective ware for frontline workers, and accelerate efforts to develop vaccines, tests and treatments.

“We grew as a community, and we will keep growing together as one,” added the designer.
