Amazon is bringing clothing customization to an affordable price point with the launch of Made for You.

The service, launched on December 15 on both web and mobile in the U.S., allows users to create custom t-shirts fit to their exact measurements.

Through Made for You, users have the option to customize the neckline, sleeve type, shirt length, and fit of their shirt, pick from a variety of colors, and choose from two fabrics: lightweight 56% pima cotton, 38% modal, 6% elastane tri-blend; or medium-weight 100% pima cotton. All shirts are made in the U.S. with imported fabric.

In order to use the service, customers must provide their height, weight, body style, and two photos of themselves to get measured for their custom fit. Once this information is submitted, a virtual double is created so that customers can see what their shirt will look like before purchase.

T-shirts are available to both standard shoppers and Amazon Prime members in the U.S., and  shirts are priced at $25.

According to industry reports, Amazon said it hopes to expand Made for You to other styles, based on customer feedback.

The service marks the latest update to Amazon's fashion category in the U.S., following the November appointment of Sally Singer as Amazon Fashion's head of fashion direction and the continuous addition of new designers to its high-end, invite-only fashion platform, Luxury Stores
