It seems we have returned to a post-covid normality, the round of fashion shows never seems to end. The Paris Men's Fashion Week has come to an end and new shows have been announced for the weeks and months to come, particularly by the houses Alaïa, Celine and Chanel.

In a post on his Instagram account, Alaïa's creative director Pieter Mulier revealed that his next fashion show for the house, owned by luxury group Richemont, will be held on January 27 in Antwerp. In the photo "27.01.2023 Antwerp," was embroidered on the back of a white blouse. Antwerp, which is none other than the city where the Belgian designer lives.

News of the next Celine show was also leaked. While the house led by Hedi Slimane unveiled its women's collection for autumn/winter 2023/24 early, on December 8 in Los Angeles, it will present its men's collection on February 10 in Paris. This is well after the men's week and before the women's week, in a place that will not be communicated publicly, according to the LVMH company.

Finally, Chanel indicated this weekend that it will "unveil its new 2023/24 cruise collection on Tuesday May 9, 2023 in Los Angeles", after having made a stop in Dakar on December 8 with its Métiers d'art 2022/23 collection. As it explains in a press release, the house "returns to California and opens a new chapter in its history with the United States, sixteen years after the 2007/08 cruise show imagined by Karl Lagerfeld in the heart of the Santa Monica airport".

"It was in 1931 that Gabrielle Chanel went to Los Angeles for the first time, when the producer Samuel Goldwyn invited her to dress the Hollywood actresses. This fashion show will be the occasion for the house to celebrate the links that unite it with the City of Angels", the label says.
