The worlds of fashion and art are once again coming together around an exclusive limited edition collection by AG Jeans and Blanda Eggenschwiler, reports Vogue magazine. This creative collaboration is designed to celebrate the Los Angeles-based brand's responsible fashion initiatives.

Ready-to-wear and luxury brands are gradually moving towards more environmentally responsible fashion through various projects and initiatives. Notably, through the use of sustainable materials, reduction of water consumption and eco-responsible packaging. Fashion and cosmetic brands have started to grasp the urgency of the situation and are starting to work on reducing their impact on the environment.

This is particularly the case for denim brand AG Jeans, which has invested in a "state-of-the-art water filtration system" to significantly reduce its water consumption. An initiative that the brand is celebrating through its collaboration with Swiss-born artist Blanda Eggenschwiler.

For the collaboration, Blanda created three designs for the brand based around the themes of water, women, and the interconnectedness of the human experience. These designs can be found, in screen-printed pen-and-ink-style drawings, on a collection of jeans, as well as on jackets, skirts, sweatshirts and t-shirts.

This limited edition capsule will be available from April 11, in AG Jeans stores and online.
