Australian cosmetics label Aesop, well-known for its plant-based formulations and its pharmaceutical-style, minimalist packaging, will soon be taking care of its customers' beauty at a new concept store located at 205 rue Saint-Honoré, Paris. Between mid-January and the end of April 2017 the brand will in fact operate a temporary space in the French capital, conceived as a shop/beauty salon hybrid.

The premises feature a three-room enfilade, designed by Aesop's architects to "completely disconnect visitors from the outside world." The interior decor features furniture selected by the Paulin, Paulin, Paulin studio.

It is the first shop/beauty salon of its kind opened by the Australian brand in Paris, where Aesop operates another eight branded stores, and it will offer six different facial treatments by beauty professionals, at a rate of €150 per hour. The same formula was recently launched at the brand's store in Los Angeles.

Aesop was founded in 1987 in Melbourne, and in 2013 Brazilian group Natura bought a 65% interest in the company. On 20th December, Natura announced it had gained full control of Aesop, whose products are distributed via 120 branded stores in 20 countries.
