Adidas launches baseball collection with Daniel Patrick

Sportswear brand Adidas has teamed up with former athlete and now fashion designer Daniel Patrick on a new Baseball collection. 

Now available on Adidas.com and on Daniel-Patrick.com, the five-piece collection consists of a jersey in two colorways, a tee, shorts and a pair of tights. In particular, the jersey embraces tie dye, which Patrick was inspired to create to set a celebratory mood, coming out of the pandemic. 

“We wanted a modern take on baseball that is elevated with cues taken from 90s baseball nostalgia… whether you play baseball or not you can still wear it. It is streetwear with a performance aspect to it,” said Patrick.

He added: “For me, I love expanding into new territories and new opportunities…I played baseball as a kid so I have an affinity for it and I appreciate the style perspective of the sport.”  

Daniel Patrick was on a path to become a professional rugby player, when he decided to go to fashion school instead. Since launching his luxury sportswear brand in 2012 with his wife, Jenny, he has grown a strong fanbase of athletes and celebs such as Jimmy Butler, Justin Bieber, Josh Duhamel, Landon Barker, Terance Mann, Zack Lugo, and more.

Most recently, he launched a collaboration with New York Red Bulls and with Major League Soccer during New York Fashion Week.
