3D Visualisation: Dassault System launches My Retail Theatre

Published
Nov 30, 2015

Dassault System has launched My Retail Theatre through its FashionLab technology incubator. This new technological solution allows consumers to develop and personalise products through 3D visualisation.

It consists of an adaptation of the 3D development method that Dassault System has already offered to fashion companies. Using the same principle, the process can now be put at the consumer's disposal to obtain a realistic photographic image of the product on offer.

The system can be used for clothing, sports shoes, jewellery, watches, leather goods and other products, associating them with a multiplicity of colour, texture and material combinations.

"By replacing physical stock with realistic, digital photographic images in 3D, retailers can still offer consumers an extended product range without increasing the size of their inventory, or compromising the quality of product displays in their stores," pointed out a representative for Dassault System. "Also, retailers will manage to gain a better understanding of consumers' tastes and trends, in order to strengthen their online relationship with customers."
