​Walpole names speakers for Future of British Luxury summit

Luxury trade body Walpole has published the line-up of speakers for its Future of British Luxury Summit in London next month, including Anya Hindmarch, Chanel, Dunhill, Farfetch, Harrods, Roksanda and Jo Malone London.

The day-long event on 6  September at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square will bring together over 300 luxury leaders, experts, analysts and professionals to discuss what’s next for luxury post-pandemic. 

Held in association with Facebook, ESW and TONG, attendees “can expect to super-charge their knowledge of the luxury sector right now and gain the information to ensure that they are poised for future opportunities, growth and success” said Walpole.  

Topics will include new business models; customer insight and engagement; the latest insights from China; sustainability and diversity; the importance of cultural connections; leadership; the future of shopping the evolution of retail as well as the outlook for global travel and the future hospitality trends.

Helen Brocklebank, CEO of Walpole, said: “Between Brexit and the pandemic, the events of the past 18 months have a created a seismic shift in British luxury. This £48 billion jewel of the British economy has never faced bigger challenges, but constraint breeds creativity and armed with the information at the Summit our mission is to make sure British luxury comes shooting out of the starting gates and takes advantage of luxury’s new boom domestically and internationally”.
