Moda, the UK national footwear show, can boast a global win. It becomes the only organiser in the last 18 months to be able to put on a show for the footwear industry, taking place in conjunction with the Autumn Fair gift show at the NEC in Birmingham on 5-8 September.

And despite “the changing and ongoing travel restrictions [that] have impacted some of our big international exhibitors”, the event still offers a line-up of over 160 footwear, fashion, accessories, and jewellery brands.
Added attractions next month will include digital clinics by partner Modular Commerce as well as buyer benefits for members of headline sponsor the British Footwear Association.
Lisa Govier, Director of Footwear, Moda, said: “We are working hard to create partnerships and experiences which will give both exhibitors and visitors a return of investment and time”.
She added: “Over a third of Autumn Fair pre-registrations have specified a primary interest in Footwear and Apparel, and Moda pre-registrations are looking great despite the challenges of the last year, so we are very excited to see the benefits to Moda of the co-location.
“Autumn Fair and Moda will be your one-stop buying destination for the most-wanted fashion and footwear brands plus there’s also nine other sectors to explore across gifts and homeware to diversify your offering”.
Headline launches this season include a new Llewellington collection by TV personality Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen featuring boots, socks, slippers and umbrellas. First-time exhibitors also include Fly London, Hukka Design, Jayley Collection and Godske.
Due to the UK government pandemic restrictions, Moda’s February show was cancelled. Instead, the show took place alongside Spring Fair online in a virtual format.
