​French jeweller APM Monaco to open first London store

French jewellery brand APM Monaco, established by Ariane Prette in 1982, is set to open its first standalone store in the UK on 3 South Molton Street, London next month. Advised by real estate agents Savills, the brand took a lease assignment for a 376 sq ft store that expires in 2023.

The luxury jeweller is popular with celebrities, having its designs worn by actresses such as Blake Lively and Joan Collins. Since its launch it has opened standalone stores in Italy, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland and Taiwan, while new stores in Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia and the US are in the pipeline.

Laura Salisbury Jones, associate director on the Savills Central London retail team commented: “South Molton Street is an ideal location for [APM’s] first London and UK store; an established retail destination with retailers such as Thomas Sabo, Sandro and Links nearby.” 

APM’s London boutique will take over the former Frey Wille unit.
