HUGO Fashion Show - Menswear & Womenswear Spring/Summer 2018 presented at the Pitti Uomo

Designers: Bart de Backer for Menswear, and Jenny Swank Krasteva for WomenswearFashion Show: Hugo Boss has chosen to represent together the Menswear and Womenswear Spring/Summer 2018 Collections of his HUGO line, during the Men’s Pitto Uomo fair.Place: Maniffatura Tabacchi in Florence, Italy. An old factory transformed into an artist’s atelier.Inspiration: The artist as muse; painters such as Basquiat, are cited in reference to colourful, bold prints, realised by the designer, Charles Jeffrey.Collection: Suits, inspired by the first HUGO collection in 1993, but made more supple, ampler, and lighter, and worn with trainers. These pieces are presented as unisex, even if the woman dares to wear the Bermuda tailoring with a touch of sexiness, especially with a cropped, or net top. The crinkled and ribbed aspect additionally creates an noticeable 3D effect.+ Transparency is put in place for this new collection, seen on multiple dresses which comprise suspenders in order to reveal the body, as well the lingerie beneath.+ Arty prints shown on the skin-tight masculine tops, and on feminine dresses.Focus on: A new, more glamorous, daring, yet youthful allure, something which the influencers invited to the front row, coming from all over the word, must appreciate+ A concert by singer, M.I.A, for the after-show partyMusic of the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information)
