Clare Waight Keller leaves Chloé

A New episode of musical chairs in fashion: Clare Waight Keller leaves the house of Chloé. She occupied the post of artistic director from 2011 and succeeded in renewing the label ‘s romantic and feminine spirit. The house was created by Gaby Aghion in 1952 and saw the passing of designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo. With Clare, the “Chloé Girls” of today as they were called, are represented by en vogue models, it girls, young actresses, bloggers and influential editors. Alongside its President, Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye, Chloé, one of the flagship labels in the Richemont group, remains an example for its dynamism and its increasing sales. There is already talk of replacing her with one of the current directors from the Louis Vuitton studio close to Nicolas Ghesquière, Natacha Ramsay Levi, of whose rock and graphic look could transport the Chloé girls into a new era.
