Zoë Jordan is the latest designer to team up with British high street fashion retailer River Island for its AW15 Design Forum.

Jordan has designed an 11-piece capsule collection exclusively for River Island, featuring her clean lines and texture. The collection was inspired by the Deep Purple lyrics “Smoke on the water, Fire in the sky” and also features charcoal hues, misty prints and an ombré effect.

Jordan says of the collaboration: “To get an insight to this side of the world of fashion, it’s been a great learning experience, one I’ve relished. I love the fact the family are still involved in running [River Island] and they do a lot of British manufacturing. We are all about a more subtle sophistication rather than shouting the loudest.”

The line will launch in September and retail for £35-£250. Previous designers to take part in River Island's Design Forum are Christopher Shannon, Jean-Pierre Braganza, James Long, Eudon Choi and Georgia Hardinge.
