In addition to running Wolsey, Brown had begun managing the BLK DNM brand in February last year, driving the group brands forward. Both Wolsey and BLK DNM belong to Jamey Hargreaves, the son of businessman and Matalan founder, John Hargreaves.

Brown joined the menswear brand in November 2010, and held a number of positions there, from Chief Operating Officer to Managing Director. He also worked at Julien McDonald as Financial Controller, Interim GM and Business Advisor between 2009 and 2010.

Wolsey is one of the oldest textile companies in the world and sells men’s clothing and accessories, including underwear, knitwear and scarves. According to public records, the brand has appointed Eric Deardorff as new director.
