Wolford is maintaining form. Having returned to growth during the last fiscal year, the Austrian specialist keeps getting better. During the first quarter of its fiscal year beginning May 1, it has seen total global sales increase by 9.2% to almost 30 million euros.

During the third and fourth quarters of last year, it recorded respective increases of 5.7% and 8.7%. Only France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Austria recorded opposite performance. All other markets have brought growth.

In Germany and Britain, Wolford saw its sales jump 5.7% and 18.7% respectively. From May to June, the operating deficit amounted to 2.4 million against a loss of 3.3 million the year earlier. For the full year, management expects turnover to grow. By tightly managing costs, results are expected to yet further improve.
