Vivienne Westwood this month opened its second New York City retail location at 14 East 55th Street.

The brand partnered with architect and Fortebis Group partner Simona Franci to design the three-level, 15,000-square-foot flagship store that features natural materials, metal and wood shelving units, as well as wood and glass vitrines. The store also has an old “revolution” t-shirt on display to nod to the brand and Westwood’s ‘punk’ past. While the first level of the location is a dedicated store, the second and third floors serve as showrooms and offices.

In addition, the New York City flagship store carries the full Vivienne Westwood product assortment including the brand’s mainline, Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, the Worlds End collection, bridal, accessories, and evening wear.

Vivienne Westwood opened its first store in New York City in 1999 at 71 Greene Street. The brand eventually closed the 7,000-square-foot store, which is now occupied by O.N.S. Clothing.

The new flagship store joins the brand’s Los Angeles and Hawaii stores as the only Vivienne Westwood retail locations in the US. The brand also operates stores in the UK, France, Austria, Italy, China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Guam.
