Classic children's book Alice in Wonderland turns 150 this year, and one of the people celebrating is British fashion's grande dame, Vivienne Westwood.

The designer has collaborated with publisher Vintage Books to crate the design and introduction for an anniversary edition of Alice in Wonderland, her favourite children's book.

Westwood has previously held catwalk shows inspired by the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and Vintage Books says: "This special anniversary edition of Lewis Carroll’s tale fits in with the twisted take on Britishness that Dame Vivienne Westwood is famous for in a magical Wonderland setting. "

Westwood created both the cover and the end papers for this edition of the book. For those who can't get enough of Alice in Wonderland, the V&A's Museum of Childhood in London is currently hosting the exhibition "The Alice Look," as previously reported on FashionMag
