Violeta arrives in the US

Published
Jul 17, 2014

Launched earlier this year and already present in many European countries (France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain) as well as in Turkey, Russia and Saudi Arabia, Mango’s line for plus size women, Violeta, was introduced on Thursday, July 17 in the United States on mango.com.

It's a start ... Mango, which was launched in the United States in 2006 through its eponymous retail chain, has high hopes for its young line, which markets dresses sized 40 to 52. The Spanish company hopes to use the 50 million euros in turnover that the brand generated this year to open about 100 points of sale under the brand’s own name in the next year, each measuring at around 4000 ft2.

It is true that Mango also put 20 million euros on the table to launch the brand.
