The paintings will go on display from 22-27 June alongside her pre-Autumn 2018 collection ahead of the upcoming Sotheby’s Old Masters sales on 4-5 July.

The Dover Street store is the only freestanding Victoria Beckham location in the UK, opened in September 2014. The 6,000-square-foot space designed by London-based architect Farshid Moussavi has previously showcased a floral art installation by Andy Tillmann, specially commissioned works by Turner Prize winner Martin Creed and jewellery sculptures by Emily Young.

The collaboration with Sotheby’s will coincide with the Mayfair Art Weekend, whose programme includes exhibitions, events, talks and tours about art, fashion and luxury across Mayfair and St James’s.

Speaking about the collaboration with Sotheby’s, Victoria Beckham said on social media: “I am so excited to announce my partnership with Sotheby’s and honoured that they have chosen to partner with me to exhibit selected works from their Old Master’s Sale at my 36 Dover Street, London store.”

Sotheby’s Old Masters Paintings specialist Chloe Stead added: “We cannot wait to present some of the top lots from our forthcoming Old Masters auction in Victoria’s fantastically sleek and beautiful space on Dover Street. It’s been so exciting collaborating with such an internationally respected and admired designer and taste-maker, and we’ve had fun working together to select paintings for the show.”
