French web marketplace Vestiaire Collective, a leader in second-hand luxury and fashion products, has opened a new logistics hub in Tourcoing, northern France. The new facility joins existing ones in Paris and New York and will allow Vestiaire Collective to process and ship over 10,000 products daily across the globe. Tourcoing is located in an area with high unemployment levels, and will welcome the new jobs Vestiaire Collective is creating there.

Vestiaire Collective's first fashion-focused ad campaign

Vestiaire Collective has recently opened an office in Hong Kong, as the springboard for its expansion into Asia, and has announced it took out a €58 million loan to power up its global development plans.

In the meantime, it picked Paris Fashion Week as the background to the launch of its first advertising campaign, shot in New York by Dan Jackson under the creative supervision of Kerry Haynes. The campaign features a posse of bright young fashion names such as model Lexi Boling, Parisian It Boy Paul Hameline and Japanese star Manami Kinoshita.

"Our first fashion-focused campaign also marks a pivotal moment in our fast-track global expansion. The campaign was developed by a first-rate creative team that is highly appreciated in the fashion world, and its concept and cast embody our global community to perfection," said Sébastien Fabre, founder and CEO of Vestiaire Collective.

"The true driver of Vestiaire Collective's success is in fact its community of over 6 million users worldwide, all of them sharing a huge passion for fashion. This is why it seemed natural for us to give them the starring role in our first fashion-focused campaign."
