Following Armani, it’s Versace’s turn to tackle a large residential project in China. The Milanese brand has announced "the development of the new residential project Versace Residences Chengdu" in western central China in partnership with Mind Group. The Chinese giant is active in various fields, including real estate and is already at work on another residential project of the same type also in Chengdu with Giorgio Armani.

The brand will develop luxury apartments ranging in size from 1,600 to 4,300 ft2 in a 68-storey, 2,400 foot tower named Versace Residences in the southwest of Chengdu, near the Jin River and Wangjiang Park. Residential units will be for sale by the end of the year, while the completion project is scheduled for 2017.

"The interior design of the residences, supervised by the house’s artistic director, Donatella Versace, will marry tradition and modernity, craftsmanship and innovation, and embody Versace," the brand said in a statement.

This isn’t the first luxury residency project for the label, as it already has to its credit the Milano Residences projects in Manila, Philippines, the Damac Tower in Beirut, and the Al Jawharah Damac Residences Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
