UK’s Anya Hindmarch to expand into the Middle East

The only accessories brand to hold an on-schedule show at London Fashion Week, Anya Hindmarch, has signed a franchise agreement with Etoile Group that will allow it to expand into the Gulf Region.

The partnership will see the opening of a first shop in the luxury concept store Tryano in Yas Island Mall Abu Dhabi in Fall/Winter 2015, followed by a shop in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia launching in Fall/Winter 2016.

“Anya Hindmarch is delighted to announce its partnership with the Etoile Group as we embark on our expansion program in the Middle East region. In a phase of strategic global growth and development for the company, we consider our investment in this market a priority,” said Helen Wright, CEO of Anya Hindmarch.

The British brand already has over 40 stores worldwide, including flagships in New York, London and Tokyo. Renowned for its witty designs, the label is stocked as well in many of the world’s best retail stores, such as Barney’s in New York to BoonTheShop in Korea.

The Etoile Group, led by Ingie Chalhoub, has established itself at the forefront of the luxury retail industry in the Middle East, licencing and launching labels such as Chanel, Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Tod’s.
