It is opening a London flagship store on the street on June 1. The shop will measure 2,000 sqft. across the basement and ground floor of 9 Carnaby Street.

John Ermatinger, Chief Executive Officer at True Religion, states: “Home to the best boutiques from across the globe, we are excited to open our flagship location in Carnaby. Simultaneously, we will launch www.truereligion.com/uk as a digital complement to our established presence in the UK marketplace.”

Other Carnaby Street retailers include Monki, Cheap Monday, Dr Martens and The Kooples, and Spanish menswear brand Scalpers recently announced that it, too, is opening a store on the street.

Samantha Bain-Mollison, Head of Retail at Shaftesbury, says: “It’s great to welcome two global additions to the 13 streets of Carnaby. Both Carnaby and True Religion are at the forefront of denim so it feels like the perfect fit. We are delighted Scalpers selected Carnaby for their first UK store complementing the strong menswear offering.”
