Tiffany names Roger Farah the Chairman of the Board

Published
Sep 22, 2017

Tiffany & Co. announced on Thursday that the Board of Directors has elected Roger Farah as Chairman, effective October 2, 2017.

Farah joined the jewelry company’s Board in March 2017 and he previously served in leadership roles at Ralph Lauren, Venator Group, R.H. Macy & Co., and Federated Merchandising Services.

He succeeds Michael J. Kowalski, who served as Chairman since 2002 and joined the Board in 1995. Kowalski will remain a director, and he will step down as Interim CEO when Alessandro Bogliolo joins the company in October. He served as CEO from 1999 until his retirement in March 2015.

Tiffany & Co. announced in July the hiring of Bogliolo from Diesel. Following his appointment, the company announced the departure of Jennifer de Winter as SVP, Northern & Latin America, and the appointments of Michael Rinaldo as Vice President, Controller and John S. Barresi as Vice President, Global Business Transformation.
