French fashion house Sonia Rykiel has unveiled its holiday 2015 capsule collection which was designed in collaboration with Paris-based Swedish Portuguese street artist André Saraiva. This chic and festive clothing and accessories line can be found exclusively at Paris concept store Colette, and will be available from November 9 at Sonia Rykiel boutiques and soniarykiel.com.

For this capsule collection, Julie de Libran, Sonia Rykiel's artistic director, wanted to create pieces that were both refined and festive. To achieve this, special attention was given to the accessories which include a selection of brooches in silver metal and crystal rhinestones.

Sonia Rykiel's famous Domino bag has been reinterpreted in two smaller versions: a cross-body bag and a clutch bag. Both are available in three shades (red, midnight blue and bronze) and decorated with gold eyelets and rhinestones.

And at this time of the year, fox fur takes a central place in this collection in the form of scarves and sleeveless jackets. The collection also offers cotton socks printed with the fashion house's iconic stripes.

Feminine and fun prints

This collection was the result of Julie de Libran's collaboration with the French street artist André Saraiva who designed a series of playful drawings which appear to symbolize Sonia Rykiel herself.

As a result, the brand's womenswear for this collection feature prints of pencils, lips, eyes and books. There is a velvet sweatshirt, a silk and knitted cardigan, dresses, cashmere jumpers, wool stoles, silk twill scarves, and t-shirts. The collection is completed by a range of gloves, hats and scarves in wool decorated with eyelets and rhinestones, and the famous brooches.

To celebrate the launch of this capsule collection, André Saraiva has made a short film featuring each printed piece.
