Rupert Sanderson launches "Gold Pebble" collection at Dubai pop-up

British shoe designer Rupert Sanderson has given his new footwear collection "Gold Pebble" the Midas touch - each shoe features a distinctive gold 'Pebble' hand leafed in 24 carat gold.

The collection of brightly coloured satin pumps are available exclusively at Level Shoe District at The Dubai Mall, where the footwear designer has opened a two-week pop-up shop. The pebble decorating the shoes is inspired by a "worn and burnished stone" that Sanderson found on a beach in Sri Lanka more than 25 years ago, and has used as a paper weight.

The shoes will be available from Level Shoe District through 27 April.

Hand leafed in 24 carat gold, the bold organic accessory adorns the toes of a range of gorgeous satin pumps varying in height and colour.  featuring the pebble are exclusive to Level Shoe District to begin with, during the period of April 12-27.
