Rebecca Minkoff announced on Tuesday that it will present its newest collection in Los Angeles at The Grove on February 4, 2017.

The New York City-based brand joins Rachel Zoe and Tommy Hilfiger as the latest to move its runway show to Los Angeles. Rebecca Minkoff will partner with retail destination The Grove on the runway show, which is reported to be a California-themed see-now, buy-now show. The upcoming show also marks as the brand’s third see-now, buy-now show.

Rebecca Minkoff has a presence in Los Angeles as well, having opened its third US flagship store on Melrose in 2015. The 4,600-square-foot store houses a Uri Minkoff retail location offering men’s accessories and footwear.

Prior to the announcement, Tommy Hilfiger announced that its second TommyNow show will be held in Venice Beach on February 8, 2016. The American fashion brand moved its show from New York City to Los Angeles to better represent its California-inspired spring 2017 collection.

Both brands follow behind Cynthia Rowley, a New York Fashion Week regular that moved its fall 2016 runway show to Los Angeles. The brand moved its show at a tumultuous time where designers were reformatting and rescheduling their runway shows and dates. Rebecca Minkoff and Moschino held shows featuring runway-to-retail pieces, Tom Ford moved his show from London to New York City and Misha Nonoo skipped fashion week altogether.

The timing of the Rebecca Minkoff and Tommy Hilfiger shows are more in sync with the retail calendar than the fashion week calendar too. The Rebecca Minkoff show will be held on the Saturday after NYFW: Men’s and the Tommy Hilfiger show will be held on the first day of NYFW. Both show days are timed for the launch of spring 2017 collections.
