Pure London closes after having seen a record crowd

Published

The organizers of the Pure London trade show have announced that visitor numbers saw an increase of 9% this year, even if, for the moment at least, they are keeping the exact figures to themselves.

A floor-space of around 12,000m² housed more than 900 brands, causing many buyers to return for consecutive days in the aisles. Some 21% of visitors came to the trade show on more than one day, “which confirms that buyers found a real interest in being here”, stated the organizers.

Variations in the number of visitors by day were amongst the figures announced by Pure London. The strongest growth in frequentation was seen on Tuesday 4 August, with an increase of 27% compared to the August 2008 edition. Sunday 2 and Monday 3 August registered rises of 11% and 4.6% respectively in their visitor figures.
