The capsule collection consists of the Pampa Hi boot in two colors, black and yellow, and it features details such as a 10oz cotton canvas upper and lining, the Smiley icon in trademark yellow and black, and a removable zip pocket that is intended to be a “festival survival kit”.

“This year marks the 70th anniversary of Palladium and we’re humbled to have come so far while staying true to our heritage roots,” said Christophe Mortemousque, brand president of Palladium. “We are proud to be partnering with Smiley as we celebrate both of our milestones and pay homage to our history as we look forward to our brand’s evolution.”

The Smiley Company, one of the TOP150 licensing companies in the world, is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year with the collaboration collection. Founded by Franklin and Nicolas Loufrani, Smiley has over 230 licensees globally generating $200 million a year.

Smiley CEO Nicolas Loufrani said, “We are excited about this collaboration as it brings together two brands deeply rooted in music, especially in the early grunge scenes. Both Palladium and Smiley have had a big impact in music for decades and we hope to continue to showcase our influence with this capsule.”

The Palladium, Smiley capsule collection launches in June 2017 and will retail for $115.
