Ovadia & Sons taps Steven Harrington for first artist collaborative collection

Ovadia & Sons on Thursday launched exclusively at Barneys a psychedelic art capsule collection with Los Angeles-based designer Steven Harrington.
 

The capsule collection is a combination of the New York City-based brand’s urbanite aesthetic and Harrington’s signature West Coast contemporary art that has been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Tokyo, Melbourne, and other major cities in North America and Europe.
 
The first artist collaboration for Ovadia & Sons is comprised of tie-dye t-shirts and hoodies, graphic t-shirts and denim jackets that feature a few of Harrington’s of characters. Select pieces feature phrases such as “Head in the Clouds, clouds in my head” and “Mello vibrations, vibrations are mellow,” as well as Harrington's zany characters.

While the characters and t-shirts are illustrated on t-shirts and hoodies, the denim jacket sports patches of the characters.
 
Prior to partnering on the collection, Steven Harrington partnered with Nike and Kith to produce limited-edition pieces to celebrate Air Max Day and the release of the Nike Air Max 1 Master. Harrington has also collaborated with Nixon watches and Colette, Lacoste and Converse.
 
The Ovadia & Sons x Steven Harrington collection is available now on the Ovadia & Sons website and at Barneys New York, Beverly Hills and on the Barneys website.
