New trade show in Brussels – Nice to Meet You

Belgium has put itself back on the fashion show calendar. After several seasons without any event for women's and men's apparel, the city has rejoined the circuit, launching Nice to Meet You for early 2014 in Brussels. Scheduled for February 2–3, the exhibition is being organized by the Brussels Fairs & Exhibition company and newspaper publisher Squadra Media.

The event will be located in Hall 10 of the exhibition grounds in Brussels on a 3,000-square-meter show floor. The fair will offer a mix of products across three groups: timeless, avant-garde and urban.

In terms of staging, the organizers have already signaled that they want to avoid the classic rows of in-line booths but will instead highlight the clothing by letting the individual collections naturally communicate borders.

The products on offer are being selected with the Benelux market in mind, but details will only be announced in a few weeks, obviously depending on exhibitor registration. The co-organizing media outlet promises a strong online component. The trade fair hopes to reach those buyers who travel a lot in Europe, especially to fairs in Berlin, Paris and Copenhagen.
