Londoners have a new shopping space to visit: the Clerkenwell London store, naturally located in the city's Clerkenwell area.

The 13,000 sqft. boutique sells homewares, fashion, jewellery, stationery, art, music and literature, and aims to promote "the makers and craft behind the very best of contemporary creativity."

As well as being a shopping destination, Clerkenwell London also hosts the contemporary bistro 155 Bar & Kitchen, a wine library and the Vinyl Lounge, which will hold music-focused events.

Selling both menswear and womenswear, Clerkenwell London has brands including Stutterheim, Zoe Jordan and Hannibal.

“Is it a concept store? Is it a boutique? It’s not a department store and lifestyle store is too generic. With that said, Clerkenwell London defies categorisation - a refreshing new injection amid what can often seem an homogenous retail scene,” says Max Fraser, design writer and editor of London Design Guide.
