British high street favourite New Look is to open a 3,500 sq ft store dedicated to its menswear collections at Frenchgate Shopping Centre, Doncaster, announced the Frenchgate Limited Partnership on Monday.

Due to open in March, New Look Men will complement the existing 16,000 sq ft ladies wear store at the shopping mall. It will be the brand’s 21st retail concept in the UK carrying only menswear ranges.

"Menswear is a key strategic priority for New Look, and the opening of menswear standalone stores represents a natural next step for us.  We are very proud of the improvements made to our offer over the past two years - the opening of menswear standalone stores will allow us to more fully showcase the enhanced quality of our product ranges,” said CEO Roger Wightman.

The Frenchgate store has been designed by an in-house agency to create a bespoke menswear focused store. It’s expected to strengthen the current menswear retail offer at the shopping centre and follows the openings of Patisserie Valerie and Select last year, as well as an upsize for JD Sports to an 8,500 sq ft store.

Frenchgate shopping centre also houses Blue Inc, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, H&M, Miss Selfridge, Next, Pandora, Quiz, River Island, USC and Topshop.
