Mulberry is hosting a series of presentations and workshops at Spencer House during London Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of the Spring Summer 2018 collection.

‘Beyond Heritage’ will be open its doors to the public on 17 February, with guests invited to shop the new collection at a Mulberry pop-up and watch skilled leather artisans demonstrate their craftsmanship at the eighteenth-century home in Central London.

There will be also a workshop exploring the different process involved in the manufacturing of Mulberry’s leather goods, and stylist power duo Brit and Kara will show guests how to style and wear Mulberry’s SS18 collection in partnership with Who What Wear.

Other key sessions include a talk with Mulberry creative director Johnny Coca about the new season line and a seminar with award-winning London-based milliner Noel Steward about his art and creations.

The idea of launching a space celebrating the craftsmanship behind the brand has been previously explored by Burberry, which opened a week long exhibition with New Craftsmen at Makers House in September last year.

For both British brands, highlighting their level of craftsmanship and English heritage has become a key part of their value proposition.

Johnny Coca, Creative Director, commented: “We are looking forward to creating a different visual experience at the house by showcasing the collection and hosting talks with modern artisans.”

Mulberry will present the new season collection on 16 February, with the collection available to shop immediately via Mulberry-com and in-stores.
