Net-a-Porter's menswear site, Mr Porter, turns five this year and is launching a one-of-a-kind, limited edition BMW i3 in celebration of the anniversary.

The car is reminiscent of that timeless men's style classic, the tuxedo, and was created by design teams from both BMW and Mr Porter. Its exterior is made in a tuxedo blue hue developed especially for the car, which is only created in an edition of ten. It features artisan touches like the white accent running the length of the chassis, which evokes a pinstripe suit and is hand painted by master craftsmen.

“At Mr Porter we give our customers the global best in men’s style across many categories, so this collaboration with BMW, the best in class in the automotive industry, felt like a bold but natural step. We relish the opportunity to be first to market for projects such as this,” said Toby Bateman, Managing Director, Mr Porter.

The BMW i3 is electric and emission-free, and will be available from Mr Porter's website from February 18. It's the first time Mr Porter has listed a car on its site, and customers also receive a Mr Porter Essentials Travel Kit with the car, featuring items exclusive to the e-tailer.

“The BMW i3 represents the effortless merging of sustainability and cutting-edge style. Our dedication to technological innovation, superior quality and first class design concepts that go beyond the ordinary, meant this collaboration with MR PORTER captured our imagination instantly,” said Stefan Ponikva, Head of BMW i Brand Management.
