Moschino lifts the lid on new A/W 17-18 campaign

The luxury label has released the first color and black and white stills of its new campaign, shot by Steven Meisel and starring young model rebel Simone Thompson, alias "Slick Woods."

After enlisting Hadid sisters Bella and Gigi as the sole faces of its S/S17 campaign, Jeremy Scott is rolling out a beefed-up millennial model army for Moschino's Fall campaign.

Slick Woods, whose unconventional, shaven-haired beauty has already earned her work for Kanye West's Yeezy line and Calvin Klein, appears wearing a Moschino shopping bag dress and matching boots with carrier handles.

Woods' stunning Moschino A/W 17-18 sidekicks are Natalie Westling, Tamy Glauser, Mileshka Cortes and Hiandra Martinez.

Moschino's go-to fashion photographer Steven Meisel creates a stark contrast by capturing the brand's signature maximalist glamour against a stripped-down, wooden-clad backdrop.

Dressed to kill in thigh-high boots, fanciful head gear, a textural diva-like appliqué gown and jiffy bag-esque jacket and skirt ensemble, repeatedly stamped with "fragile" and with 'it' bags in tow, the models go against the grain as they strike decadent poses in the warehouse location.

Models' wardrobes and looks featuring scraped-back hair and vampish red pouts were styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele, Guido Palau (hair) and Pat McGrath (makeup).
