Scores of British and international fashion brands are preparing to show their latest collections at the next edition of Moda as opening day nears.

The UK’s biggest trade fashion event has announced new signings across menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessories ahead of its winter edition, taking place at Birmingham NEC on 18-20 February.

This season, inspiring new brands arriving at Moda Woman for the first time include contemporary Danish labels Fransa and B.Young, boutique Parisian collection Fifilles de Paris and Spanish arrival Scorzzo.

Menswear will take centre stage with a networking brunch on the menswear plaza and an engaging panel discussion with menswear guru Carl Thopmson. Professionals from all aspects of the trade are invited to take a fresh look at men’s fashion, and interact with a clear business focus in the face of increasing competition from online retailers.

The show will also welcome new footwear brands such as Katy Perry Footwear, Fiorelli Footwear and Accessories, Gant and Emu Australia, who will showcase their AW18 collections alongside returning labels.

For the first time, the content programme at the trade show will include a more intimate workshop format allowing visitors to get individual feedback and guidance from the experts. And former England cricketer and TalkSport host Ronnie Irani will give a seminar on orthotics and their impact on footwear sales.

A presentation from the British Independent Retail Association on retail collaborations and a talk on micro-influencers by e-commerce expert Dan Conboy round up the content programme.

Meanwhile, outside of the seminar programme, Moda will host a live photoshoot workshop across all three days, teaching visitors how to take Instagram-worthy photos.
