Michael Kors has announced the launch of Rush to the Runway, a campaign centered on the upcoming Spring 2016 runway show. The campaign is an inside look at NYFW and the brand’s growing global audience, which will lead into a live stream of the Spring 2016 show, taking place this Wednesday September 16.

Rush to the Runway begins with teaser video vignettes and photos with a digital countdown clock. Following the campaign will be a live stream of the show, which will be viewable on mobile and tablet devices. The show will be recorded on 6K Red Epic Dragon cameras at 120 frames per second, and wire-cams that often used for large-scale sporting events will be used for the first time at a major NYFW show.

“The moment a new collection hits the runway is always a thrilling thing for me and I love being able to share it with our fans around the world,” says Michael Kors. “This season, the livestream will make you feel more than ever like you’re in the front row.”

During the show, the brand will stream its social media feeds and user-generated content tagged with the hashtag #AllAccessKors. Editorial reportage from the designer will follow the live stream.

The Michael Kors live stream will run for its 8th consecutive season and will go live during the Spring 2016 runway show on Wednesday, September 16 at 10am (EST in the US).
