The new designer in residence is Matthew Williamson, who takes over after Ben de Lisi. He took over on June 1 and has decorated the apartment with his SS16 collection for Debenhams. It also gives a visitors a preview of Williamson's AW16 collection.

Williamson's collection for Debenhams has a modern Cuban twist, and also celebrates the Arts & Crafts movement. It features paradise-inspired prints, pom-poms and striking embellishment, and key looks include pineapples, peacocks, patchwork layering, beautifully beaded cushions and exotic birds.

“I’ve loved interior design as long as I have fashion design so working on my homeware collection for DEBENHAMS is a real passion project. Dressing Cheval Three Quays this summer with my collection is a great opportunity, as it enables all guests to experience the DNA of my lifestyle brand,” Williamson said.

Williamson will be followed as designer in residence by Abigail Ahern, Julien Macdonald and John Rocha.
