Marks & Spencer, the British high street lifestyle retailer that’s known for its food and clothes, has just opened an outlet store at MediaCityUK’s Lowry Outlet in Manchester.

Lowry Outlet

Other outlets at Lowry include Next, Gap, and Clarks. The Marks & Spencer store will measure 1,394 sqm. and sell womenswear, lingerie, kidswear and menswear. It replaces an existing M&S Outlet store at Lowry Outlet and will offer customers a 30%-60% discount on high street prices.

Rob Morray, Head of Property Planning at Marks & Spencer, said: “In addition to opening new stores we’re always thinking about how we can improve our existing store estate for our customers. Our new store will ensure we continue to bring the very best of our outlet offering to Lowry Outlet”.

Jason Pullen, Managing Director of Peel Outlets, said: “Lowry Outlet is on the radar of retail and leisure/lifestyle operators thanks to both regional dominance and rising footfall. This is a centre which has customer pulling power and the growth in both footfall and, the important addition of this new Marks & Spencer store, will further enhance that.”

The new M&S will be Lowry Outlet’s largest store.
