Marc Cain launches Marc Cain Beauty

Germany-based fashion house Marc Cain is making its first foray into beauty this month with the launch of a new label; Marc Cain Beauty.
The new label will launch with a fragrance line dubbed “Marc Cain Mysteriously” comprised of three different fragrances including Mysteriously No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3. The scents are aimed at the premium customer who already has a high affinity to Marc Cain, the company said, adding that the goal of the line is to attract new customers.

“With this exclusive range of fragrances, we are now looking to extend our large portfolio on the one hand and also appeal to our target groups on the other,” said Helmut Schlotterer, founder, owner and Chairman of the Management Board, in a news statement. “Just like with our fashion collections, the focus is on the development of high-quality products that surprise and inspire.”  
The line was created by perfumers Corinne Cachen, Maarten Schoute and Michel Almairac.
The first fragrance is described as fruity-oriental with top notes of Sicilian bergamot and a citrus component; the second fragrance is described as Floral-oriental based on a composition of tonka bean, powdery vanilla and musk, while the third fragrance features Woody-spicy fragrance notes.
““Mysteriously” is inspired by confident, headstrong women who know what they want,” explains Michael Förster, Chief Creative Officer of the fragrance manufacturer Lyrique Parfums from Switzerland, in a news statement. “It is a homage to women surrounded by an aura of mystery and who, driven by passion, can achieve anything they set out to.”
The eau de parfums are available in either 40 ml or 80 ml glass bottles. Each fragrance is also complemented by a matching skincare series, consisting of a shower gel, a body lotion and a roll-on deodorant.
The line will be available to purchase at Marc Cain stores and retail spaces in  the Europe, Asia and North America regions this October.
