Maison Martin Margiela ‘20’ The Exhibition to be held at Somerset House

Published
Feb 16, 2010

This summer, from the 3rd of June to the 5th of September, Somerset House in London will host the Maison Martin Margiela ‘20’ The Exhibition – a celebration of twenty years of fashion design from one of the most influential and enigmatic designers in recent years.

Maison Martin Margiela

Following ‘SHOWstudio: fashion revolution’ and ‘Skin and Bones: parallel practices in fashion and architecture’, Somerset House is continuing its programme of showcasing talents from the worlds of fashion, art and design.

This exhibition arrives in London on the back of successful showing at the Mode Museum in Anvers in 2008, and Haus de Kunst in Munich last year. Planned in collaboration between Maison Martin Margiela and the Belgian fashion museum, the show will be completely reconfigured for the Embankment Galleries wing of Somerset House.
