Maison Martin Margiela’s contemporary line for women now has its own London store, following its first European opening in Paris in 2013 at place du Marché Saint-Honoré (1st arrondissement). At 700 square feet, the location stocks collections of MM6’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

MM6 debuted its own dedicated retail network with its first branch in New York, where it shows during fashion week season. A second New York location opened at 91 Grand Street in Soho at the beginning of April 2014.

Launched in 1997, MM6 offers casual and elegant womenswear collections, as well as shoes, accessories and leatherwear. In 2002, the brand came under the control of Renzo Rosso (OTB, Diesel’s holding company) along with its parent, Maison Martin Margiela. In 2009, Margiela himself left the brand that he had founded 20 years earlier. An in-house studio in Paris currently designs both lines.

In April, the line opened a second New York store in Soho
