Additionally, Dorset-based cosmetics retailer Lush has extended its lease at the shopping centre for another ten years, real estate company Hines announced this week.

Emme Haycock, asset manager for Hines UK, said the lettings further enhance the calibre of brands available at the Grade II listed shopping destination, which also houses Molton Brown, L’Occitane, French Connection, Hotel Chocolat and Watches of Switzerland.

“The Royal Exchange Manchester continues to attract an exciting range of retail talent and we are pleased to be welcoming Lululemon and Irregular Choice into the mix,” she said.

In addition to the new store at the Royal Exchange, Lululemon has a small showroom on the nearby St Ann St, which regularly hosts sports events for runners. This is currently the brand’s only location in Manchester.

Lululemon has also seven standalone stores in London, one in Guildford and an outlet at Bicester Village.
