Levi Strauss & Co. recruits President of Global Retail

With 2,700 stores worldwide, directly-owned or franchised, the retail segment is by rights among the key vectors for the Levi Strauss & Co. group (Dockers and Levis). The US group has now announced the appointment of an Executive Vice-President and President of Global Retail.

Carrie Ask will take up her role on 16th February. She will also act as the group's Executive Vice-President, reporting to CEO Chip Bergh.

Carrie Ask spent three and a half years with the Nike group, where she was notably Vice-President of Global Retail at Converse. Since early 2015, she was in charge of the group's retail network in North America. Before joining the sports giant, Ask, a former US Navy Lieutenant, gained experience at Petco and Target, and honed her skills at McKinsey & Company.

Levi Strauss boasts a presence in 110 countries and last year recorded a revenue of $4.8 billion.
