To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Vogue, Karl Lagerfeld has created a special rose-themed collection for Lord & Taylor. The capsule collection will be available at the department chain’s store-within-a-store The Dress Address.

The anniversary collection designed by the Chanel and Fendi creative director will include ten dresses priced at $148 to $198. The line includes sleeveless dresses, spaghetti straps, off-the-shoulder looks and long-sleeved dresses, with a mix of day and evening styles. Roses are a prominent theme in the collection, as the flower is emblematic of the both the magazine and Lord & Taylor.

In addition to Lord & Taylor’s The Dress Address, the collection is also available online. Lord & Taylor launched the specialty store at its Fifth Avenue flagship location earlier this year. The store-within-a-store carries labels such as Karl Lagerfeld Paris, Calvin Klein and Rachel by Rachel Roy.

Lagerfeld, who has served as creative director of Chanel since 1983, has collaborated with department stores and mass-market retailers in the past. Some of his notable collaborations include collections for Macy’s and H&M. The German designer also photographs his campaigns for Chanel and Fendi and was recently a guest of honor at international photography fair, Paris Photo.

The Lord & Taylor capsule collection included input from Vogue’s editor. The US edition’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was recently named a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II. Vogue was founded as a weekly newspaper in 1892 before becoming a monthly publication.
